Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is it compulsory to buy bike insurance for my TVS Ntorq 125?

Yes, you must have insurance for your Ntorq 125 because the Motor Vehicle Act 1988 makes it mandatory. When you ride without insurance, the police can fine you ₹2000-₹4000* and take away your scooter. This creates big problems since your Ntorq 125 is your daily ride to college or work. So having valid insurance papers keeps you safe from legal troubles while riding.

What is zero-dep insurance?

Zero depreciation means you get full replacement value when repairing your Ntorq 125 after accidents. Your plastic parts, fibre panels and electronic components get covered at original prices without any deductions. This saves you thousands of rupees on repairs because smart scooter parts cost much more than regular ones. So this add-on becomes very valuable when you need expensive repairs for your advanced features.

Can I add multiple add-ons to my policy?

Yes, you can choose multiple add-ons like engine protection, key replacement, helmet cover and roadside assistance together. Each add-on gives you extra protection that basic insurance doesn't cover for your smart Ntorq 125. Popular combinations include zero depreciation with engine protector or consumable cover with daily allowance. So you can customise your protection based on your daily riding habits and specific needs perfectly.

What is the cost of scooty insurance?

The TVS Ntorq 125 insurance price starts at just ₹18 per month*, which is very affordable for students and working professionals. This low cost covers your smart features like digital display and electronic parts that cost much more than regular scooters. The final amount depends on your coverage type, add-ons you choose and your city location. So you get complete protection without spending too much money.

Can I transfer my NCB (No Claim Bonus) when I sell my TVS Ntorq?

Yes, your No Claim Bonus stays with you personally, not with the scooter you sell. When you buy a new scooter or motorcycle, you can transfer your discount benefits to the new insurance policy easily. This means your safe riding history continues saving you money on premiums for years. So careful riders get rewarded even when they change their vehicles, which encourages responsible riding habits.

What if I miss the TVS Ntorq 125 insurance renewal deadline?

Missing your renewal deadline creates legal problems and leaves you without any protection on the roads. However, you can still renew your expired policy, but you'll need a vehicle inspection and lose your No Claim Bonus benefits. The TVS Ntorq 125 insurance price stays reasonable even after delays, but it's better to renew on time. So use our IndusInd Insurance app, which sends reminders to avoid these problems completely.
