Coverage under each product is governed strictly by the respective policy wording, endorsements and Customer Information Sheet (CIS).
2. Premium Disclosure
Two-Wheeler insurance premium is paid for coverage against risks associated with owning and operating a vehicle, including accidental damage, theft and third-party liability.
Premium varies based on:
Vehicle make and model
Cubic capacity
Vehicle age
Registration location / RTO
Insured Declared Value (IDV)
Policy tenure
Add-ons selected
No Claim Bonus (NCB) eligibility
Claims history
Underwriting assessment
Applicable regulatory guidelines
Any premium illustration displayed on the website is indicative and excludes applicable taxes (e.g., GST), unless stated otherwise.
Motor Third-Party Liability premium is regulated under applicable law and may be revised by IRDAI/MoRTH from time to time.
Risk cover commences only upon receipt of premium in accordance with Section 64VB of the Insurance Act, 1938.
Premium illustrations are periodically reviewed and may be updated without prior notice to reflect pricing revisions.
3. Premium Illustration – TVS Jupiter
Where a “Starting at ₹___” or similar pricing statement is displayed for TVS Jupiter, such premium is calculated based on the following illustrative configuration:
Vehicle: TVS Jupiter
Cubic Capacity: Less than 110 cc
Policy Type: 1-Year Own Damage Policy
Insured Declared Value (IDV): ₹34,766
Annual Premium: ₹233 (excluding applicable taxes)
Monthly Illustration: ₹19 per month (₹233 ÷ 12)
The above premium:
Applies only to the specified configuration
May not apply to other variants, IDV selections or geographical locations
Excludes applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
Does not represent a guaranteed premium for all customers
Where monthly premium is displayed, it is derived for illustration purposes only and does not constitute a separate monthly policy unless explicitly offered under an approved instalment facility.
Actual premium payable will be determined at the time of quote generation based on vehicle details and underwriting assessment.
4. Discount Disclosure
Discounts:

Certain vehicle models or risk categories may not be eligible for specific discounts as per underwriting guidelines.
5. Network Garage Disclosure
The number of garages mentioned on the website represents the total number of garages empanelled across the country for different vehicle categories.
Cashless repair facility is available at network garages subject to:

Claim admissibility
Surveyor assessment
Repair authorization
The network garage list is dynamic and may change periodically.
6. Scope of Coverage
Two-Wheeler Package Policy may include:
Own Damage
Third-Party Liability
Personal Accident cover (where applicable)
Add-on covers (if opted and premium paid)
Third-Party Liability Policy includes:
Legal liability arising from death or bodily injury to third parties
Damage to third-party property
Third-Party Liability policy does not provide coverage for damage to the insured vehicle.
The extent of coverage depends on the policy variant selected.
7. No Claim Bonus (NCB)
No Claim Bonus:
Is earned upon completion of a full policy term
Is applicable at renewal
May lapse if the policy is not renewed within the permissible period
Is subject to verification of prior insurer records
Incorrect declaration of NCB may result in premium adjustment or policy cancellation.
8. Inspection & Underwriting
Policy issuance may be subject to:
Vehicle inspection (particularly in break-in cases)
Underwriting review
Submission of required documentation
Inspection waiver, if offered, applies only to eligible vehicles as per underwriting guidelines.
The insurer reserves the right to revise or cancel coverage in case of material misrepresentation.
9. Geographical Limits
This insurance policy is valid only within the geographical limits specified in the policy document (typically India), unless endorsed otherwise.
10. General Exclusions (Illustrative)

11. Prohibition of Rebates
In accordance with Section 41 of the Insurance Act, 1938 (as amended), no person shall offer or accept any rebate of premium except as permitted under applicable regulations.
