Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the percentage of claims in Bajaj bike insurance?

At present, Bajaj bike owners can confidently purchase or renew their motor insurance policies with IndusInd General Insurance, as we boast an impressive claim settlement ratio.

How to check Bajaj bike insurance policy status?

You can log into your Self-i account and verify your bike insurance details by clicking on the policy document. Alternatively, you can call our customer support at +91 22 48903009 to enquire about specific details.

How does IndusInd General Insurance calculate the Bajaj bike insurance quote?

IndusInd General Insurance considers your Bajaj bike’s Insured Declared Value (IDV), age, engine capacity and coverage requirements to set up a custom premium amount. However, for a third-party liability insurance plan, the rates are predetermined by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).

How many times can I claim Bajaj bike insurance?

There is no limit to the number of times you can claim your bike insurance with IndusInd General Insurance. However, for a successful reimbursement, there must be coverage remaining for that particular policy year to ensure it does not affect your plan benefits.

What documents are required to purchase a new Bajaj bike insurance plan from IndusInd General Insurance?

To get a new Bajaj bike insurance policy from us, you should present your bike registration certificate, previous policy details, driving licence, and Aadhaar card or any other valid government ID proof.

How can I improve my chances of claim approval?

For a higher chance of your bike insurance claim being accepted, ensure you respond quickly following an incident, provide correct details, and understand the specifics of your policy, including any exclusions.
