Please note that as per Press Note 2 (2021 Series) of the FDI Policy, the aggregate holding by way of foreign investment in the equity shares of an Indian insurance company by foreign investors, including portfolio investors, shall not exceed 74% of the paid-up equity capital of the company, subject to the terms set out in Press Note 2 of 2021. At present, the limit of foreign shareholding in IndusInd General Insurance Company Limited (formerly IndusInd General Insurance Company Limited) as per the FDI policy has been exhausted and accordingly, no investor shall be permitted to transfer their shares to a foreign shareholder, until further notified. Please note that any transfer of equity shares to a foreign investor shall be void ab initio and shall be deemed a breach of the FDI Policy. The Company shall be entitled to take all necessary actions to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
