Along with documentation, Ghaziabad RTO also focuses on road safety and vehicle compliance. It ensures that all vehicles plying on the road meet the fitness requirements, and are following the pollution emission rules. The Indian Government has made it compulsory for all drivers to have motor insurance under the Motor Vehicles Act. Drivers must have a third-party insurance at a minimum to be able to cover other people's property and people during accidents. The RTO enforces this strictly through random checks on the road, registrations, and renewals. Driving without car insurance is inviting trouble.
