Issuance of Fresh Passports

You can apply for a passport for the first time under your chosen category (regular or Tatkal application). Just fill in your details, book an appointment and complete biometric verification in person at the passport office

Official/Diplomatic Passport

People holding diplomatic status or appointed by the Government of India for official duty abroad can apply for a diplomatic or official passport. Even if you hold an ordinary passport, you must apply as a fresh applicant.

Passport Re-Issue

You can get your passport reissued if it's been lost, damaged, expired or about to expire. The process will be the same as a fresh application. You'll need to book an appointment online and appear in person.

Passport Renewal

Required for visa applications and overseas job opportunities, available at the passport office in Chandigarh. For this, an officer will either be dispatched to your address or you'll need to visit the nearest police station with your application.

Surrender Certificate

Available for those immigrating overseas. If you are renouncing Indian citizenship to get a foreign passport and citizenship, you can surrender your passport at the PSK and obtain a Surrender Certificate as proof.

Global Entry Program Verification

Those enrolled in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Global Entry Program can complete their background verification at the Pune passport office. This can be done at the nearest PSK.

How to Apply for a Passport in Pune?

Visit the Passport Seva portal. If you are a new user, click on ‘New User Registration’ and provide the required details.

Log in to the portal by clicking on ‘Existing User Login’ using your credentials. Follow the next steps to apply for a passport.

Click on ‘Apply for Fresh Passport/ Re-issue of Passport’, fill out the required details and submit the application form.

Under ‘View Saved/Submitted Applications’, click ‘Pay and Schedule Appointment’ and then ‘Print Application Receipt’.
